Squareposh has rebranded to Wondaur.

Wondaur

Instagram data and deletion.

What we use when a website shows its owner’s Instagram posts, and how to disconnect and delete it at any time.

Last updated October 16, 2026

What we use

Some websites built and hosted by Wondaur can show the website owner’s latest Instagram posts. When a business connects its Instagram account from its Wondaur dashboard, we receive permission to read that account’s public posts (photos, videos, captions and links) and its username. We use this only to show those posts on that business’s own website. We don’t post, message, follow or change anything on the account.

We keep the connection key encrypted on our servers, and copies of the post photos shown on the website. We don’t sell or share this information.

How to disconnect

  • From your dashboard: Social → Instagram → Disconnect. The connection key is deleted right away, and the Instagram section disappears from your website at its next update (within a few minutes).
  • From Instagram: Settings → Website permissions (Apps and websites) → Active, then remove our app (it may still be listed under our earlier name, Squareposh Sites).

How to delete your data

Email hi@wondaur.com with the subject “Delete my Instagram data” and your website address or Instagram username. Within 30 days we delete the connection key, your username and every copy of your Instagram posts from our servers and your website, and we reply to confirm.

Disconnecting from your dashboard deletes the connection key immediately; the post photos are removed from your website at its next update and from our servers within 30 days.
