Downtown Stayton
A rebuilt website for the Historic Downtown Stayton Association, with an events calendar, a directory of downtown businesses and a page for each of its projects and grants.
The goal
Give a historic downtown association one place that shows what is happening downtown, who is there and what it is working on, and let its own team keep all of it up to date.
- Built for
- Found on Google
- A page for every event, clear titles on every page, and the old addresses forward to the new pages, so nothing that was found before is lost.
What we built
Made to do the work.
- One events list that fills the home page, an events page with a month calendar and a page for every event
- Add to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook, a calendar to subscribe to and a printable calendar
- Past events move off by themselves every night, with nobody touching the site
- A searchable directory of downtown businesses with a map, their logos and website, Facebook and call links
- Projects and grants, each with its photos from before to after and a picture viewer
- Volunteer and contact forms that reach the association
- A dashboard where the association edits every page's words and photos, its events, businesses, projects, board, committees and documents
