Hanzell

A website for Hanzell Vineyards built around the estate. A Current Releases page describes each wine and links most of them to the winery's store, alongside wine club, visit, farming, winemaking and story pages.

Hanzell: Home: estate grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon since 1953
The Hanzell website on a phone

The goal

Give a Sonoma winery founded in 1953 a home for its story, its farm and its current releases. A visitor should be able to read the tasting notes, book a tasting and reach the winery's store without calling first.

Built for
  • Direct to consumer wine
  • Wine club members
  • Tasting visitors
Found on Google
Every section keeps a readable URL with its own canonical and a descriptive title. The home page description names the three varieties and the 1953 founding, and WebSite schema on every page carries the winery name and logo.

What we built

Made to do the work.

  • A Current Releases page with tasting notes and an ingredients line for all ten wines
  • Eight of the ten wines carry a bottle price linking to the Hanzell store
  • A PDF tasting note link beside every wine on the Current Releases page
  • An Ambassador's Circle wine club page with join, member login and Farm Series add-on
  • A Visit page with tour price, duration and an embedded CellarPass booking widget
  • An Our Story timeline of dated milestones from the 1953 founding to 2021
